For parents of learner drivers
Your teenager is learning to drive. You want to help with the theory test, but you passed years ago. That is exactly who DriveQuiz is for.
How you can help
Once the app is out, play a short game together. Ten questions take a few minutes. Afterwards you both see which topics need more practice, so you know what to talk about on the next drive. You might find you’ve forgotten a few rules yourself.
You can start today: sit the free mock theory test side by side and compare your scores. To see how our questions are made, read how we write and check them.
What it costs
- The live quiz with friends and family will be free.
- DriveQuiz Pro will be a one-off payment of £9.99. No subscription, nothing that renews. Pro will keep your progress by topic and bring back the questions you got wrong until you get them right, with more mock tests and a daily practice set in the app.
- The App Store or Google Play shows the price before anyone pays.
- No ads, no in-game currency and no limited-time offers.
Safety and privacy
- Players only need a nickname. We don’t ask for real names, photos or contacts.
- There is no chat and no way to message other players.
- Game codes stop working after two hours.
What DriveQuiz is not
DriveQuiz is not the official theory test and is not connected to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), which runs it in Great Britain, or to the DVA, which runs it in Northern Ireland. Our practice questions are our own, drafted with AI help from The Highway Code and other GOV.UK guidance and checked against them, not copied from the official revision question bank. No driving instructor has reviewed them, and DriveQuiz does not include hazard perception practice. Book and prepare for the real test on GOV.UK.
This website shows 55 of our 325 checked UK questions, with one free full mock for this country. The DriveQuiz app is coming soon with the full bank, live games and saved progress with Pro.
