When can I download DriveQuiz?

DriveQuiz is coming soon in the UK on iPhone and Android. Until then you can practise free on this website: the mock theory test, the Highway Code quizzes and the road signs quiz.

Is it free?

Everything on this website is free. Playing the live quiz with friends and family will be free too when the app is out. DriveQuiz Pro will be a one-off payment of £9.99, not a subscription. The App Store or Google Play shows the price before you pay. Pro will keep your progress by topic and bring back the questions you got wrong until you get them right, with more mock tests and a daily practice set in the app.

Are these the real theory test questions?

No. The official revision questions belong to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), which runs the test in Great Britain. Our own practice questions are drafted with AI help from The Highway Code and other GOV.UK guidance and checked against them, and every answer comes with a short reason why. No driving instructor has reviewed them. Read how we write and check them.

Does DriveQuiz cover hazard perception?

Not yet. DriveQuiz covers the multiple-choice part of the theory test. Our hazard perception guide explains how that part works and where to practise it.

I have a game code. How do I join?

Open the link you were sent, or go to play.drivequiz.app and type the 6-digit code. Live games will start when the DriveQuiz app is out; anyone you invite will then join in the browser without the app.

I’m in the US. Which version do I use?

The permit test is different in every state. Use DriveQuiz US.
