When can I download DriveQuiz?

DriveQuiz is coming soon in the US on iPhone and Android. Until then you can practice free on this website: the permit practice test, the Texas practice test and the road signs quiz.

Is it free?

Everything on this website is free. Playing the live quiz with friends and family will be free too when the app is out. DriveQuiz Pro will be a one-time purchase of $9.99, not a subscription. The App Store or Google Play shows the price before you pay. Pro will keep your progress by topic and bring back the questions you got wrong until you get them right, with more mock tests and a daily practice set in the app.

Does it cover my state’s permit test?

Texas is covered so far: see the Texas permit test. For other states, the all-states practice test covers what every state shares, such as signs, signals and markings. We add a state only once its questions are checked against that state’s own laws and handbook.

Are these the real DMV test questions?

No. We write our own practice questions from public sources, and every answer comes with a short reason why. Read how we write and check them.

I have a game code. How do I join?

Open the link you were sent, or go to play.drivequiz.app and type the 6-digit code. Live games will start when the DriveQuiz app is out; anyone you invite will then join in the browser without the app.

I’m in the UK. Which version do I use?

The UK theory test is different. Use DriveQuiz UK.
