DriveQuiz for driver’s ed teachers, libraries and homeschool groups
The short answer
Every quiz on drivequiz.app is free in the browser, with no sign-up, ads, cookies or analytics, so it works on a classroom screen or a library computer. Answers cite their sources, and your state’s handbook decides what your own permit test asks.

What you can use
The US web shows 45 of our 279 checked bank questions, with one free full mock and a 25-question all-states sample. The DriveQuiz app is coming soon with all 279 questions.
DriveQuiz offers free quizzes in the browser with no sign-up, ads, cookies or analytics. Use a classroom screen for a shared question or a library computer for individual practice. A learner does not need an account to use these browser quizzes.
Choose from a 25-question all-states sample and one free 40-question Texas mock and a road signs quiz. The road signs quiz uses our own drawings of the national MUTCD signs. For paper study, there is a printable study sheet.
Answers cite their source, such as the MUTCD, NHTSA, the Uniform Vehicle Code, a state driver manual or Texas law. Questions are drafted with AI help and checked against those sources; they are not reviewed by a driving instructor or any state agency. Read how we write questions when choosing practice for your group.
Session ideas
A driver’s ed warm-up
Start a driver’s ed class with a warm-up quiz on a shared screen. Read each answer’s source together so learners can connect the question to the cited rule.
A Texas family session
Use the Texas mock in a parent-taught driver education family session. Read the Texas parent-taught driver education guide together, and use the cited answers as prompts for discussion.
A library teen drivers link
Put a quiz link on a library’s “teen drivers” resource page. Learners can open the browser quizzes on a library computer without signing up, and can print the study sheet for home.
Reading aloud at a homeschool co-op
Take turns reading questions aloud in a homeschool co-op. After the group chooses an answer, have the next reader share the reason and the source before moving on.
Practice alongside a course
DriveQuiz does not replace a state-approved driver education course. Each state writes its own permit test from its own handbook; the national MUTCD covers shared signs, signals and markings. Keep your state’s handbook alongside the printable study sheet.
Live games coming soon
