In short
- The website uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising tools.
- The three-question demo runs on your device. Your answers are never sent anywhere.
- When you pick a country, your browser remembers the choice (“uk” or “us”) in its local storage, so the right version is highlighted next time. It never leaves your device.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
What we collect and why
When you open the website, your IP address and technical details about the request (such as browser, time and the page you ask for) are processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare works out from your IP address which country you are in. We use that country only to highlight the right version of the site and, for visitors in Norway or Sweden, to show a link to our Norwegian app. We do not store it.
We do not ask for your name, email address or any other details on this website. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, through our email provider, and we delete the correspondence when your question has been dealt with, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Who receives it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects the website as our service provider (processor), under Cloudflare’s data processing addendum. If you email us, our email provider also receives your message. We do not give personal information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Request data is processed only while the page is delivered to you and to protect the site against attacks. We have not turned on log storage at Cloudflare (Cloudflare’s logging tools are switched off), and we do not keep access logs ourselves. Cloudflare’s own security processing follows its retention terms; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track visitors and use no analytics tools, so there is nothing to switch off. The site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The website collects no information beyond what is described above from any visitor.
Your choices and rights
You can clear the saved country choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about, access, correct or delete personal information about you. To ask, email hello@drivequiz.app. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
