The no through road sign means the road has no way through for vehicles: it is a dead end. You may still drive in unless another sign says you cannot.

What it means
Know your traffic signs: no through road for vehicles. A version with an arrow shows that the road leading off from the junction ahead, in the direction of the arrow, has no through route. The symbol can also be part of a street name plate.
It is an information sign, not an order, so it does not stop you going in.
Where you see it
At the entrance to cul-de-sacs and other roads with no way out for vehicles at the far end.
A common mistake
Confusing it with no entry. No entry is an order not to go in; no through road only tells you that you will have to come back the same way.
